Women’s Leadership Academy DBA Girl Code Girls mission is to empower women and girls by providing them with the tools and resources necessary to love themselves and others, thereby strengthening sisterhood and promoting healthy conflict resolution. We tackle the issues of drama, violence, and division that often permeate girl culture by offering faith-based and culturally competent community events and programs. These preventative initiatives focus on:

Through the creation of safe spaces for open dialogue, mentorship, and personal growth, we assist women (Girl Code Sisters) and girls (Girl Code Girls) in forging meaningful connections and leading with integrity in a digital landscape that may not always align with moral values. By fostering positive relationships and nurturing a healthy, intergenerational girl culture, we aspire to cultivate a generation of compassionate leaders, role models, and mothers who contribute to a more inclusive and unified society.

I follow and support Chanel Jack of #GirlCode, because she has gotten real clarity about the root causes of violence, suicide, mental health challenges, and true tragedies as well as just limitations of a young woman's potential. True pain and tragedy often starts with very small origins. I follow because we can’t get more women of color on pathways to generational wealth through careers in technology if we can’t get them to adulthood in good mental and emotional health. Kudos Chanel Jack for your work. People pay attention to this.

"The Girl Code workshop was nothing short of amazing. Each of the Girl Code members were skilled at targeting the very concerns that high school girls face on a daily basis.
