At Women’s Leadership Academy DBA Girl Code Girls everything we do begins with one question: What would love do? We believe love is more than emotion — it is a standard which we like to call Girl Code. Our philosophy is built on three guiding approaches that shape our mission to restore morality, sisterhood, and love among women and girls: Faith, Media & Relational Leadership, and Intergenerational Approach.

Faith-Based Approach
Our work is rooted in faith and guided by biblical principles of love, character, and purpose. While the church teaches scripture, we help girls live it out — in their friendships, choices, and everyday life. We bridge the gap between church and real life by walking with girls as they grow in faith, teaching that right behavior begins with a changed heart, and a changed heart begins with love. We don’t preach at them; we love them through the process. Love heals. Love corrects. Love transforms. When we choose love daily — for God, for ourselves, and for others — we choose transformation.

Media & Relational Leadership Approach
The standard of love has been erased from today’s media. This generation grew up online, and after the pandemic, screens became their main teacher of identity and womanhood. Unfortunately, media often glorifies conflict, vanity, and division through shows and viral moments that normalize “mean girl” behavior. We’ve seen the devastating results — from the death of Ma’Kiyah Bryant, bullied into a fight and killed, to the 2025 Chicago attack on a mother and her son that was filmed instead of stopped.
We teach Media and Relational Leadership, equipping girls to use their influence responsibly and to reflect empathy, integrity, and love both online and offline.
We remind them that media is powerful—but so are they. When girls learn to lead through love, they become the storytellers and culture-shapers of tomorrow.

Intergenerational Approach
We believe real change begins at home — and it takes all of us. Our work reaches across generations to empower girls, women, and mothers, because strong girls come from strong women. Children are meant to be raised in love — with accountability, truth, and guidance in healthy relationships. Many parents were never taught these standards themselves, so we help women grow through faith and personal development to become better role models and nurturers. When women are healed, homes are healed.
We are guided by the biblical truth that women carry divine influence. In Genesis, Eve’s decision influenced Adam, revealing the power of a woman’s choices. When that influence is rooted in wisdom and love, it restores families, communities, and culture. We are powerful alone, but unshakable together. When women set the standard, the world follows.
Becoming Your Sister’s Keeper
This is how transformation begins — through love in action.
By living, leading, and loving through the principles of Girl Code, we teach women and girls how to become their sister’s keeper. Because when we heal women, we heal generations. And when we live by love, we change the world.
